subcutaneous fat in isolated areas that do not respond to diet and exercise.
These areas include the hips, waist, abdomen, thighs, knees, legs, ankles,
face, neck, and arms. Liposuction is most successful in people with good

The procedure is performed as an outpatient basis and involves multiple
small stab incisions through which a cannula or hollow tube is inserted.
This tube is assisted by a vibrator to glide and break up the fat beneath the
skin preserving nerves and blood vessels. Suctioning is gentle and
comfortable as patients feel the vibration sense of the power cannula as
massage. Several areas can be suctioned at one operative setting although
your surgeon may limit the amount that can be removed safely at one time.
